Phil Baggett Owner
Hi, I'm Phil Baggett and my family has owned and farmed this land since 1873. We pride ourselves on the humane care and treatment we give our animals and on our efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of the environment.
Roast Beef Platter
Our primary goal here at the Baggett Family Farm is to bring you, our customers, the highest quality, most delicious-tasting, grass-fed beef, pastured pork, and free-range chicken available anywhere. Just click here to visit our store.
On Tuesday, April 10, 2012, 73 high achieving science, math and engineering students from Clarksville-Montgomery County's STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Academy Came to visit the Baggett Family farm. For the first time in Tennessee the UT Agricultural Extension Agency and a school system are partnering on a project which exposes students to how integral science, technology, engineering and math are to the workings of today's farm. The students were joined by 22 biology teachers from across the system, who are integrating STEM into their courses. Below is a video showing some of the day's activities and Phil Baggett talking about the benefits of the visit.

New Product - Pork
The Baggett Family Farm is proud to announce that we are now offering pastured pork products. Pastured pork is more nutritious, raised more humanely, safer for human health, and better for the environment. You can enjoy our first products, bacon and sausage, now by selecting "Pastured Pork Products" from the Online Store menu.
New Product - Free-Range Chicken We have partnered with an Amish family living near our farm and now are able to offer free range/pastured chickens. The birds are on kept on pasture and grown during the spring through fall months using the methods taught by Joel Salatin. These are whole birds. They come frozen with an average weight of about 4.5 lbs; a good value at $3.99 per lbs. If you want to try one, just drop us an email at philbaggett@tennesseegrassfed.com and we'll get back to you with the exact price, around $18. Pink Slime has been in the news a lot lately. We would like you to know that we do not use ANY PART of our animals in our ground beef that would be even close to being a pink slime organ/component, etc. And nothing in our ground beef is added from any outside source.

Our beef is dry-aged 14-17 days and then cut. Our ground beef is made right then; from only our animals AND just from whole muscle pieces.

If you have any other questions, please click on the Contact Us link in the menu above and drop us a line. Thanks!
